Description of the Position
Are you passionate about Oracle technologies and eager to contribute to the modernization of strategic enterprise solutions? Join CGI as a Senior Oracle EBS & Oracle Fusion Developer and participate in large-scale digital transformation projects for our clients.
You will work in a collaborative environment where your technical expertise will be leveraged to design, develop, integrate, and enhance robust, high-performance, and secure Oracle solutions. You will also play a technical advisory role for development teams and actively contribute to Oracle Fusion Cloud migration initiatives.
Location: Montreal (Quebec).
Work Arrangements: Regular office presence in Montreal is required.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Senior Oracle EBS & Oracle Fusion Developer, you will be called upon to:
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2) and Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions.
- Develop RICEW/CEMLI components (reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, workflows, and customizations).
- Design and optimize high-performance SQL and PL/SQL developments (packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and query optimization).
- Develop and maintain integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST and SOAP APIs, as well as XML, JSON, and SFTP data exchanges.
- Perform data conversions and migrations using FBDI and other Oracle tools when required.
- Participate in Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud migration and coexistence projects.
- Produce technical analyses, effort estimates, detailed specifications, and deployment strategies.
- Collaborate with functional teams, architects, DBAs, security specialists, and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide level 2 and 3 production support, diagnose complex incidents, and propose sustainable solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, promote best development practices, and mentor less experienced developers.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, DevOps practices, and technical documentation.
Qualifications Required to Succeed in this Role
- More than 8 years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud development.
- Excellent proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, including performance optimization.
- Strong experience in Oracle EBS development (Forms, Reports, OAF, Workflow, XML Publisher, BI Publisher, concurrent programs).
- Significant experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and enterprise integrations.
- Good knowledge of REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, and secure data exchanges.
- Experience with data conversions using FBDI; knowledge of HDL, HSDL, BICC, or ADFdi is an asset.
- Understanding of best practices for designing resilient integrations (error handling, retry, monitoring, alerts, and reconciliation).
- Experience with Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud migration projects.
- Knowledge of Oracle EBS deployment processes (ADOP/Online Patching) and Oracle Fusion quarterly updates.
- Good understanding of at least one Oracle functional domain: Finance, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Human Capital Management (HCM), or Project Management.
- Experience with source code management tools, CI/CD processes, and software development practices.
- Ability to thrive in an Agile and multidisciplinary environment.
- Technical leadership, autonomy, diligence, and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in French and English*

- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
- Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion Cloud, or Oracle Integration Cloud certifications.
- Experience with large-scale digital transformation projects.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, deployment automation, and application monitoring tools.
Language Requirement: Proficiency in French is mandatory*.
Bilingualism: Excellent professional proficiency in French and English*, both written and spoken.
- The ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, is required, as this position involves regular collaboration with colleagues and partners in North America.

CGI offers a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. The calculation of this range depends on various factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, and professional licenses and certifications. Salary decisions depend on the particulars of each case. A reasonable estimate of this salary range is between $70,000 to $135,000. This position is a future opportunity.
