PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Under the supervision of the Project Manager, Communications and Marketing – Financing Initiatives, the Communications and Marketing Coordinator – Financing Initiatives contributes to the implementation of communications related to the Foundation's events.

They participate in the creation of communication tools, the coordination of deliverables, and the deployment of planned communication actions. They ensure the quality of content, the consistency of messages, and the respect of deadlines.

In close collaboration with the Project Manager and various stakeholders, they support a smooth and effective execution of communication initiatives.

The person sought-after is distinguished by their organizational skills, rigor, collaborative spirit, and relationship skills. Dynamic, creative, and proactive, they learn quickly, adapt easily to changes, and thrive in a stimulating environment where performance and job satisfaction go hand in hand. Experience in philanthropy and event management is an asset.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES COORDINATION AND IMPLEMENTATION – 20 %

Deploy actions – Implement communication plans and editorial calendars related to financing initiatives and events.

Coordinate deliverables – Follow up on schedules, validations, and required deliverables with internal teams and external providers.

Ensure information flow – Transmit information clearly between the Project Manager, stakeholders, and involved collaborators.

WRITING, ADAPTATION, AND REVISION OF CONTENTS – 20 %

Write and adapt content – Develop content for social media, newsletters, website, invitations, event pages, field tools, and post-event communications.

Revise with rigor – Perform basic linguistic revisions, incorporate received comments, and adjust content according to established guidelines.

Preserve brand consistency – Ensure compliance with editorial guidelines, FJET tone, and brand consistency in communications.

PRODUCTION OF TOOLS AND SUPPORT FOR PROVIDERS – 20 %

Prepare tools – Participate in the preparation of briefs, simple visuals, and graphic declinations necessary for campaigns and events.

Support production – Collaborate on production follow-ups with external providers and ensure tools are delivered in the required formats.

Publish content – Participate in the online publication of content on digital platforms, including the website and newsletters.

EVENT SUPPORT AND FIELD WORK – 20 %

Prepare field communications – Contribute to communication needs before, during, and after events, including the preparation of field tools and post-event follow-ups.

Support on-site team – Assist the team as needed during events in a collaborative, welcoming, and professional manner.

Contribute to setup – Occasionally handle light equipment or materials, generally up to 10 kg / 22 lb, during setup or breakdown.

DIGITAL MARKETING AND PERFORMANCE – 10 %

Update platforms – Perform simple updates on the website and contribute to the implementation of marketing initiatives.

Conduct daily monitoring – Monitor social media and report relevant elements for communications or follow-ups.

Contribute to reports – Collaborate on the collection and analysis of performance data: open rates, clicks, engagement, and distribution results.

REQUIREMENTS

Education – Degree in communications, marketing, public relations, event management, or any other relevant field.

Experience – 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in communications, marketing, campaign coordination, event support, or related field.

Tools – Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; proficiency with social media, newsletters, content calendars, and project management tools.

Assets – Knowledge of Mailchimp, WordPress, Canva, or Adobe Creative Cloud; experience in coordinating with providers, volunteers, colleagues, or stakeholders.

Languages – Excellent written French; good written English.

Availability – Occasional evening and weekend availability during events; occasional travel as needed.

Driver's License – Valid driver's license.
