- Welcome to the Finance Department
The Finance Department is the central pillar of our company's economic and strategic management. Composed of experts in accounting, internal control, treasury, taxation, and investor relations, it ensures the optimization of resources and the security of financial operations.
- You will play an important role in:
- Reporting to the Director of Project Financing, the Project Financing Analyst will contribute to the development, execution, and monitoring of the company's project financing strategies;
- Supporting the senior analysts and the Director in preparing project financings, refinancings, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions;
- Participating in the preparation and updating of documentation required by lenders, investors, and other stakeholders;
- Ensuring the tracking of financial and contractual obligations of various financings, including compliance reports, financial ratios, and other deliverables to lenders;
- Participating in the updating, validation, and analysis of project financial models;
- Preparing requests for withdrawals, distributions, and other financial movements in collaboration with internal teams and external partners;
- Participating in the due diligence process and coordinating information collection from various stakeholders;
- Producing and maintaining various reports used by the financing and treasury teams;
- Participating in the end-of-quarter and end-of-year financial information production process, including compliance certificates, distribution certificates, bank confirmations, and other required documents;
- Tracking financial fees, including interest, engagement fees, letters of credit, agency fees, and other costs related to financings;
- Collaborating closely with the development, treasury, accounting, taxation, legal affairs, and operations teams;
- Participating in the continuous improvement of the team's tools, processes, and best practices;
- Taking responsibility for the development of your skills;
- Performing any other related tasks.
- To succeed in this role, you must:
- Hold a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or any other relevant field;
- Have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in project financing, corporate finance, infrastructure, energy, or financial services;
- Demonstrate strong skills in financial modeling and data analysis;
- Possess excellent analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving abilities;
- Show autonomy, diligence, and a strong sense of organization;
- Be able to manage multiple files simultaneously and meet tight deadlines;
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, both in French and English;
- Have the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at different levels;
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;
- Knowledge of project financing, capital markets, or the renewable energy sector (asset);
- Experience with financial modeling of infrastructure or renewable energy projects (asset);
- CFA, CPA, or pursuit of one of these titles.
