Warehouse Worker

The Sommets group has 6 restaurants-bars open during the winter season and 5 snack bars to serve the clientele during the summer season.

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for activities related to inventory management, collaborates in the planning of supply needs, receiving, storing, and distributing goods for the Sommets restaurants.

Responsibilities

• Delivers goods to restaurants, bars, and various points of sale on-site, off-site, and at different stations.
• Conducts inventory.
• Collaborates in planning supply needs by establishing the quantities of goods to be ordered.
• Compares received goods to the delivery note and verifies the quantity and quality; identifies non-conforming items to be returned; identifies perishable goods.
• Stores goods in the warehouse, refrigerators, and freezers to ensure continuous rotation and easy access; recommends maximum quantities of goods per delivery based on available storage space.
• Verifies transfer forms and requisitions; stamps, files, and follows up on invoices and delivery notes if necessary.
• Takes deliveries of goods from various suppliers.

Experience

More than two (2) years of relevant experience required in similar roles.

Education Required

High School Diploma or relevant experience.

Qualifications

Possess a valid driver's license with the appropriate class for more than one year.

Salary: Starting at $50,000 per year.
