Data Analyst / Data Scientist

The Data Analyst will rely on advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling to transform company data into actionable insights that guide strategic business decisions. Working with structured and unstructured data from multiple business systems, you will develop predictive models, identify trends, and propose analytical solutions to improve business performance.

Within the Enterprise Information & Intelligence team, you will collaborate with business leaders, data engineers, BI developers, and solution architects to implement scalable analytics solutions and accelerate the development of a data-driven culture within the organization.

Your day at a glance

• Develop predictive, prescriptive, and statistical models to solve complex business problems
• Explore and analyze large, complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and business opportunities
• Design, build, validate, and deploy machine learning models for forecasting, classification, clustering, recommendation, and anomaly detection
• Apply statistical methods and experimentation techniques to validate business hypotheses and measure the impact of business initiatives
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business challenges into analytical and data science solutions
• Implement feature engineering pipelines and prepare datasets for advanced analytics and machine learning
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytical datasets using Azure cloud technologies
• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to design enterprise data models and optimize data architecture for analytics
• Create dashboards and visualizations in Power BI to communicate insights, model results, and key business metrics to technical and non-technical audiences
• Work with enterprise data sources including Dynamics 365 CRM, Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), and other operational systems
• Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve the performance and accuracy of analytical and machine learning models
• Promote best practices in data science, data governance, model governance, and responsible AI
• Document analytical methodologies, model assumptions, and implementation processes

What makes you an excellent candidate

• At least 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Applied Data Analyst, Machine Learning Engineer, or similar role in advanced analytics
• Strong experience applying machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques to solve real-world business problems
• Advanced proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and experience using machine learning libraries
• Deep knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning, feature engineering, model evaluation, and optimization
• Experience designing and implementing A/B tests, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and predictive analysis
• Strong SQL skills, with experience querying and analyzing large, complex datasets
• Experience working with cloud-based analytics platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Azure services such as: Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Lake Storage
• Experience designing data pipelines and preparing datasets for advanced analytics
• Understanding of dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and data governance principles
• Experience communicating complex analytical results to business stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations
• Experience with Power BI, including data modeling and DAX language, for creating analytical dashboards and executive reports
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency in both French and English, both spoken and written (this role requires interactions with our international colleagues and clients)

A plus if you have

• Experience deploying and monitoring machine learning models in production (MLOps)
• Experience with generative AI, large language models (LLM), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or AI assistants
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and modern lakehouse architectures
• Knowledge of Spark, PySpark, or distributed data processing
• Experience with Dynamics 365 CRM and Finance & Operations (F&O)
• Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataflows)
• Experience using enterprise semantic models and modern BI platforms
• Knowledge of responsible AI, model governance, and explainable AI techniques
