Civil and Commercial Litigation Lawyer

Thibeault Joyal is a boutique law firm specializing in litigation and business law. Our firm is currently seeking a lawyer with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience for a civil and commercial litigation position at our offices in Montreal.

The candidate must demonstrate autonomy, be rigorous in drafting procedures, and be proficient in managing both civil and commercial litigation cases.

Main responsibilities of the position: 1. Management of civil and commercial litigation cases; 2. Representing clients in court; 3. Drafting letters and procedures; 4. Negotiating settlements; 5. Writing legal opinions; 6. Conducting legal research; 7. Negotiating commercial agreements

Do you possess the following skills?

• Bachelor's degree in law and member of the Quebec Bar;
• Strong skills and knowledge in litigation and commercial law;
• Analytical thinking and good judgment;
• Good work organization, priority management, and ability to work under pressure;
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral;
• Dynamism, efficiency, team spirit, and leadership;
• High level of rigor;
• Good interpersonal skills;
• Initiative and proactivity in finding and implementing solutions;
• Bilingualism.
