In the context of a mutualization project carried out jointly with Arprim and SKOL, two other artist centers located within the Belgo Building, CIRCA seeks to hire a project assistant in mutualization who will work on the creation of a toolbox for the mutualization of centers. The selected person will partially ensure public reception in conjunction with the employees of Arprim and SKOL.

ARPRIM supports and promotes emerging practices in printmaking through exhibitions, events, and meetings. It develops its network by collaborating with organizations in printmaking, contemporary art, and related fields. Website: arprim.org CIRCA supports sculptural and installation practices, whether they are inscribed in a tradition of sculpture or arise from contact with other media, such as drawing, printmaking, photography, digital, and painting. This position is offered under a salary subsidy from Emploi-Québec in the Work Experience section and constitutes an opportunity to develop concrete experience in project coordination, applied research, document management, cultural administration, organizational development, and public reception.

➤ Salary: starting at $17.60/hour ➤ Hours: 40 hours/week, Tuesday to Saturday ➤ Duration of employment: 30 weeks ➤ Deadline to apply: September 3, at 23:59 ➤ Hiring interviews: to be determined according to the candidate's availability ➤ Start date: September 22, 2026

Mutualization Project

Under the supervision of the directors of CIRCA, Arprim, and SKOL, the selected person will be responsible for: ★ Planning, organizing, and following up on the various stages of the mutualization toolbox development project; ★ Organizing work meetings and following up on decisions; ★ Documenting the various stages of the project; ★ Conducting research and comparative analyses on mutualization models; ★ Participating in the analysis of the organizations' policies, procedures, and practices; ★ Developing reference tools (guides, templates, analysis grids, governance models, planning tools, and other methodological documents); ★ Participating in the writing of the mutualization toolbox intended for cultural organizations wishing to undertake a mutualization process; ★ Collaborating with the directors and external consultants.

Desired Profile: ❍ Strong interest in contemporary art, cultural organizations, and the community; ❍ Interest in collaborative practices, resource mutualization, and organizational innovation; ❍ Excellent written communication skills in French; ❍ Good knowledge of French and English, both spoken and written; ❍ Strong analytical, synthesis, and organizational skills; ❍ Proficiency in office tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or equivalents); ❍ Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with multiple partners; ❍ Initiative, diligence, and attention to detail; ❍ Knowledge of layout and graphic design software (InDesign, Photoshop, or equivalents), an asset; ❍ Training or experience in the arts, culture, humanities, administration, project management, or related fields, an asset.
