Intermediate Operator

Evening Shift Schedule: 15:00 to 23:15

No rotating schedule!

*The Intermediate Operator* ensures the optimal functioning of the production line, maintains equipment performance, and monitors product quality while participating in continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Mastery:
• Achieve mastery of 4 blocks, which includes understanding and operating all equipment on the production line (*filler, labeler, serialization, etc.*).
• Line Setup:
• Be able to set up the production line while following established procedures and ensuring compliance with production standards.
• Documentation:
• Record the operations performed and the results obtained to ensure effective tracking of line performance.
• Apprenticeship:
• Accompany and train operators on all equipment on the line, sharing best practices and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Replace operator assistants and operators as needed.
• Any other operational tasks deemed relevant.

Required Skills and Experience

• Completed high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of experience on a production line in the pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetic industry or related field.
• Interest in the mechanics of production equipment.
• Ability to plan and organize work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of BPF and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Thorough knowledge of equipment assembly and disassembly.
• Ability to analyze mechanical issues and propose quick and effective solutions.
• Ability to document and clearly communicate deviations and performance to teams and supervisors.
• Ability to support colleagues, fostering a learning and continuous improvement environment.
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook).
• Proficiency in French.
• Proficiency in English is an asset.
• Capable of lifting a minimum of 10kg.
