Founded in 1994, the Breakfast Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing services and funding school breakfast programs. We work with partners from all sectors to deploy a national school nutrition program of quality. Together, we create a welcoming environment where all children and adolescents have access to healthy food essential to their success and well-being. The Club has grown significantly since 1994, but our commitment to seeing children thrive remains unchanged.
The Breakfast Club is seeking a Coordinator, Marketing, Events and Sponsorships. Reporting to the Senior Advisor, Events and Partnerships, the successful candidate will actively contribute to the organization and logistics of the Club's signature events as well as the management of external sports events across Canada.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the coordination, follow-up, and execution of the logistical activities of signature events, including schedules, vendors, on-site operations, setup, breakdown, and deliveries.
- Participate in the writing and proper application of marketing tools (newsletters, fundraising emails, creative briefs and content for the website, etc.) related to events.
- Manage the various registration platforms for signature events, track registrations, and serve as a resource person for participants by answering their questions and requests.
- Manage external sports events for the Club, including the coordination of fundraising platforms, as well as communication and thank-you efforts before, during, and after external events.
- Stay informed about the activities of the competition (events and sponsorships) and ensure a watch on best practices.
- Be on-site during events and perform all tasks related to the smooth operation and participant experience.
- Manage various vendors, and delivery logistics in preparation for and on-site during events.
- Collaborate with the team in managing the events committee members and ensure the preparation and coordination of committee meetings, as well as the follow-ups that result (minutes, reports, sending invitations, etc.).
- Contribute to the production of post-event reports.
- Coordinate project administration: billing, payment tracking, sales reports, etc.
- Support the advisor in soliciting donations in-kind and services from businesses.
- Track donors and collect contributions.
- REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in marketing, or any other relevant field;
- 1 to 2 years of experience in business development, sales, sponsorships, or fundraising;
- Bilingualism essential (French and English), both orally and in writing (English is essential for meetings that occur several times a month with colleagues and partners from across Canada).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
- Interest in event management;
- Availability outside regular office hours during event periods and for meetings with external collaborators.
- Ability to lift up to 17 kg.

- EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
- Full-time permanent position;

- Annual salary of $48,000 to $60,000, depending on experience;
