Main Responsibilities

• Supervise the departure of drivers and oversee the end of the day;
• Schedule drivers and trucks, provide collection sectors on maps;
• Verify the work methods of drivers in the field;
• Act in emergency situations (oil spills, accidents, etc.) and coordinate cleanup;
• Follow up on citizen complaints via city or municipal requests;
• Write daily reports;
• Assist and train drivers on new routes and/or new collection sectors;
• The supervisor must be a person who is involved in workplace health and safety;
• They must adopt behavioral safety techniques and be able to make them adoptable by drivers;
• Ensure that daily inspections on waste trucks are carried out as required;
• Ensure that drivers respect the company's health and safety policies and procedures;
• Ensure the collection of household waste and the repair of rolling bins;
• Record engine hours and production data;
• Track inventory;
• Monitor the mechanical condition and tires of trucks;
• Cover for the absence of your supervisor;
• Perform any other related tasks.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in supervision.
• Equivalent combination of training and/or experience accepted.
