The CFCM is an emergency shelter for women experiencing homelessness and aged 18 and over. We are currently recruiting to find the perfect candidate to coordinate our team of interveners.
Under the authority of the Director, the Clinical Coordinator manages all activities of an emergency shelter serving 40 women aged 18 and over experiencing homelessness and difficulty.
Main Responsibilities:
Management of the Accommodation and Intervention Mandate
- Ensure the quality of services to residents;
- Supervise the psychosocial and medical follow-up of residents;
- Prepare and hold team meetings;
- Provide individual and group clinical supervision;
- Develop action plans for teams;
- Plan, lead, and ensure the follow-up of team meetings;
- Support the Director and the Organization's visibility.
Human Resources Management
- Administration and supervision of the work teams;
- Jointly with the Director, ensure all personnel management and supervision functions, including recruitment, selection, evaluation, and team meetings;
- Supervise the proper functioning of the day, evening, and night shelter operations and monitor compliance with all policies, standards, and procedures to be followed by employees under their supervision;
- Plan work schedules to ensure workforce needs are met;
- Ensure that employees under direct supervision complete their daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic tasks and responsibilities;
- Effectively manage employee-related issues such as absenteeism, non-compliance with procedures, disciplinary measures, performance, etc.;
- Participate in the writing of program and activity status reports under their supervision;
- Ensure that meticulous file-keeping standards are met, including statistics and their analysis;
- Supervise the physical condition of the day shelter and coordinate work and installations, as well as communicate supply needs and ensure household maintenance, with the Operations Director;
- Make recommendations to the Director of Programs, Services, and Activities regarding changes to improve services and team activities;
- Establish work schedules.
Requirements and Qualities Required
- Completed BAC in Social Work, Psychoeducation, or Psychosocial Intervention; or any other related field.
- Relevant experience of 3 to 5 years as a manager within a community organization and mandatory administration.
- Good oral and written communication skills in French and functional English;
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment;
- Great adaptability, flexibility, and openness of mind;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and others;
- Sense of organization, versatility, autonomy, availability;
- Ability to control stress and manage conflicts;
- Knowledge of the issues/context related to people experiencing homelessness is an asset.
- Open to working in a multicultural environment
- Listening skills and empathy;
- Good communication skills;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Available to work one evening per week

- Salary: $65,000.00 to $68,000.00 per year
