About the Role

The Service Specialty Sales Representative (SSR) is responsible for driving growth across GE HealthCare’s Commercial Service portfolio through a hybrid inside and outside sales model, supporting clinics and some hospitals. This role balances remote/inside sales activities with targeted in-person customer engagement, partnering closely with customers and internal teams to deliver data-informed, customer-centered service solutions that improve outcomes and strengthen long-term relationships.

This position follows a hybrid work model, with a combination of remote work in addition to customer site visits across the territory.

Territory coverage is for the Province of Quebec.

About the Role

The Service Specialty Sales Representative (SSR) is responsible for driving growth across GE HealthCare’s Commercial Service portfolio through a hybrid inside and outside sales model, supporting clinics and some hospitals. This role balances remote/inside sales activities with targeted in-person customer engagement, partnering closely with customers and internal teams to deliver data-informed, customer-centered service solutions that improve outcomes and strengthen long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to healthcare customers by understanding their operational needs and aligning them with tailored service solutions across GE HealthCare’s service portfolio
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, including clinic and hospital leadership, purchasing groups, and internal account teams
  • Analyze historical service usage data to develop insights and business cases that drive customer value, growth opportunities, and deeper customer engagement
  • Execute territory and account plans to achieve quarterly and annual financial targets through a combination of inside sales engagement and in-person customer interactions
  • Leverage CRM and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce and internal systems) to identify trends, uncover growth opportunities, and guide engagement strategies
  • Collaborate closely with the GE HealthCare Account Community, including Field Service Representatives (FSRs), Area Service Leaders (ASLs), Market Service Directors (MSDs), Marketing, and Commercial Excellence teams
  • Participate in Requests for Proposal (RFPs), including preparing professional responses, supporting pricing discussions, and coordinating implementation with Service Operations
  • Contribute to centralized forecasting and commercial insight processes
  • Maintain a strong understanding of GE HealthCare products and services, healthcare industry dynamics, and the competitive landscape
  • Represent the voice of the customer by providing feedback that helps refine and improve service offerings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Business/Commerce or Master’s degree in a related field, or equivalent previous experience in Services Sales
  • 2+ years of consultative sales experience, including strategic selling and negotiation at multiple levels within an organization; or
  • 4+ years of GE HealthCare experience in customer-facing role(s)
  • Proven ability to build credibility and trust with diverse stakeholders at multiple organizational levels
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into clear insights and recommendations
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take initiative
  • Well-developed organizational, influencing, and facilitation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or leading commercial negotiations, including pricing discussions, contract terms, or RFP-related negotiations
  • Adaptability and comfort working in a dynamic, evolving market environment
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex issues within scope of responsibility
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned geographic region, including occasional overnight stays
  • Bilingual in English and French is required
