Locations: Montreal, Sherbrooke, or remote work depending on the project

Roles and Responsibilities

Your Role:

As an Integration Developer, you will participate in the design, development, and evolution of robust, scalable, and secure integration solutions. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop modern platforms based on best practices in cloud development.

Your Main Responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance microservices and REST APIs;
• Develop modern integration solutions in GCP and Azure cloud environments;
• Design and maintain API gateways using Apigee;
• Develop ETL processes and ensure data integration between different platforms;
• Collaborate closely with analysts, architects, and business teams to transform needs into concrete technological solutions;
• Produce high-quality code by applying best practices in development, automated testing, and code review;
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum) and contribute to the continuous improvement of team practices;
• Support production applications and participate in incident resolution when required.
• Qualities Required for Success in This Role

What You Bring

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, integration, or Full Stack development;
• Excellent proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, and TypeScript;
• Experience in developing microservices and REST APIs;
• Experience with cloud-native architectures (GCP and/or Azure);
• Strong experience with Apigee or a comparable API management platform;
• Solid knowledge of Node.js, Docker, Git, and Agile/Scrum methodologies;
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• The Assets That Will Make a Difference
• Experience with one or more of the following technologies is a significant advantage:
• React or Angular;
• NestJS;
• MongoDB, SQL, and NoSQL;
• MuleSoft;
• Azure Functions;
• Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE);
• Cloud Run;
• Pub/Sub;
• CI/CD Pipelines;
• Experience in the retail, e-commerce, or enterprise integration environments;
• Bilingual French/English.

• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, as the person in this role will regularly collaborate with colleagues and partners in Canada and the United States.

CGI offers a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. The calculation of this range depends on various factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, and professional licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions are based on individual circumstances. A reasonable estimate of this salary range is between $75,000 to $130,000. This position is open.
