Overview

By joining our Digital & Artificial Intelligence Department, you will work in an environment that encourages creativity and rewards excellence. You will play a key role in developing robust, scalable, secure, and maintainable back-end systems for AI-powered applications. Your expertise in full-stack engineering, cloud services, APIs, data integration, and AI application models will enable the transformation of prototypes into enterprise-ready solutions. While the role is primarily focused on back-end development and platform, the ability to contribute to the entire application stack is a significant asset.

What will you contribute to the team?

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end services, APIs, orchestration layers, and integration components that power AI-enabled applications.
• Develop full-stack application capabilities using Python, TypeScript, .NET, or equivalent enterprise development technologies as needed.
• Implement AI application models such as retrieval-augmented generation, semantic search, agentic workflows, prompt orchestration, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Integrate applications with approved cloud services, identity platforms, enterprise systems, databases, document repositories, and AI services.
• Model and implement data structures, application schemas, APIs, and transformation logic required for reliable and scalable application behavior.
• Develop secure, maintainable, and well-documented services, compliant with software development lifecycle practices and enterprise architecture expectations.
• Develop and optimize SQL or NoSQL data access models, stored procedures, queries, and integration logic as required.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, architects, cybersecurity, data owners, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability, monitoring, and production readiness for AI-powered applications.
• Stay up-to-date on advancements in AI engineering, cloud-native development, database technologies, software architecture, and secure delivery practices.
• Mentor developers and contribute to reusable engineering models for the AI & Automation Center of Excellence.

How will you thrive in this role?

• You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• You have 5+ years of professional experience in back-end or full-stack development, including enterprise applications in production.
• You have strong programming skills with Python, TypeScript, C#, .NET, or equivalent enterprise development languages.
• You have demonstrated experience in designing APIs, integration layers, application services, and relational or NoSQL data models.
• You have hands-on experience with cloud services, preferably Azure, including application hosting, identity, storage, monitoring, and AI services.
• You have experience in developing AI-powered applications, including Azure OpenAI, vector search, document processing, RAG, agents, or equivalent technologies.
• You have a good understanding of data structures and algorithms, including knowledge graphs, ontological representations, and R2RML and RDF mapping technologies.
• You have a good understanding of secure software development, authentication, authorization, secret management, logging, monitoring, and production support.
• You have experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools for source code management, code reviews, CI/CD, and documentation.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Blazor is a plus.
• You are self-motivated, innovative, dynamic, and capable of structuring complex technical problems into clear implementation plans.
• You have excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business stakeholders, architects, cybersecurity, data teams, and developers.
• You have a demonstrated passion for staying ahead of industry trends and proposing new ideas for complex engineering and AI application challenges.
• You have the ability to communicate in French and English in a professional context.
