Why is this role important?
We are looking for a part-time pharmacist to join our team to expand our professional services.
One weekend every four.
One evening per week.
Approximately 10 hours per week (to be discussed)
Small neighborhood pharmacy in a vibrant neighborhood with a loyal and diverse clientele.
315 rx/day on average
Majority of pill counters are CPO.
We frequently host Laval University interns.
Welcome to graduates, perfect schedule for a student in a master's program in pharmacy or a pharmacist returning to school for a career change.

SUMMARY
Manage pharmacy activities during your shift, including providing advice to customers and healthcare providers, drawing on your full range of expertise to provide professional services, dispensing medications, and assisting with dispensary maintenance.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pharmacy and customer service.
- Welcome all customers entering the pharmacy.
- Practice within the framework of federal and provincial regulatory and legal requirements.
- Ensure that all confidentiality requirements are met, including customer confidentiality and consent management.
- Provide consultations on prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, and medications behind the counter.
- Draw on your full range of expertise to provide professional services, within your capabilities.
- Be clearly identifiable to the public.
- Ensure the accuracy and relevance of all prescriptions executed.
- Communicate with other healthcare professionals in the care circle to provide customer service.
- Keep all required files up to date in accordance with legislation, practice standards, and policies.
Operational Procedures and Stock Management
- Control access to the dispensary regarding stocks and patient confidentiality.
- Examine and update daily the operational procedures queue.
- Regularly examine the "to call" bins, in accordance with established normalized operating procedures.
- Review stocks to identify expired stocks.
- Monitor current stock levels and wholesaler medication orders.
- Ensure that all documentation and substance control requirements under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and regulations are met and report to Health Canada and regulatory bodies.
Operations
- Ensure that entry and pickup workstations, consultation and waiting areas, and work islands reflect an appropriate image of the pharmacy.
- Participate in the production of financial reports, if applicable.
- Read and execute store communications on Intra-mag.
- Write incident reports when an incident involving a customer's or staff member's medications or confidentiality-related incidents occurs.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to think and make decisions; make decisions when it comes to resolving issues.
- Plan, coordinate, and delegate tasks and provide mentorship to pharmacy colleagues.
- Proven ability to stimulate and develop business, lead by example, and support the company's programs.
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Superior customer relations skills and great professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in developing and implementing action plans.
- Solid computer skills and knowledge of pharmacy systems, an important asset.
- Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed to provide a safe and hazard-free work environment.
- Follow mandatory training and optional continuing education workshops, as needed.
