In this strategic and growth-oriented role, you will provide a comprehensive range of services to institutional clients who are sponsors of a collective retirement savings plan or wish to establish one.

You will also collaborate with other benefits advisors to provide more complex consulting services to large clients, including investment advice.

The advisor will benefit from the support and analytical tools of our national team responsible for managing over 25 billion in assets.

The main tasks, without being limited to, are as follows:

  • Act as an advisor to numerous institutional clients of medium and large size;
  • Provide consulting services related to all aspects of collective retirement savings plans, including:
  • + Designing retirement plans and evaluating benefit levels;
  • + Selecting service providers and continuous monitoring of all operations;

+ Developing project plans for the implementation and management of schedules, deliverables, and budgets; + Designing investment structures, as well as selecting and continuously monitoring asset managers and funds; + Evaluating the competitiveness of management and investment fees; + Developing and implementing the governance process of the plan, including compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines; + Supporting and participating in retirement committees and annual general meetings; + With the support of communication specialists, preparing or revising documents for participants; + Building strong relationships with assigned clients and managing all aspects related to consulting services for them; + Mentoring and training junior analysts in the execution of mandates and the optimization of internal tools; + Contributing to business development, either by directly approaching potential clients or responding to RFPs, participating in finalist presentations, and responding to opportunities from colleagues in other HUB business areas; + Contributing to the continuous expansion and evolution of our intellectual capital in retirement plans.

Job Requirements

Technical Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field;
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of collective retirement savings plans for a plan sponsor, consulting firm, or service provider;
  • Strong proficiency in both French and English, both written and oral;
  • In accordance with the requirements of financial market regulatory authorities, you must hold the title of Collective Pension Advisor or be on track to obtain it within your first year;
  • CEBS, CFA, or Pl. Fin. designation, an asset;
  • AICA or FICA designation, an asset.

Personal Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills to effectively interact with clients and potential clients;
  • Analytical and project management skills;
  • Experience in client relationship management;
  • Strong interest in providing the best service to clients;
  • Ability to have discussions that go beyond typical investment topics to promote significant changes in financial well-being and plan governance;
  • Comfortable in an environment with changes;
