Procurement Management Agent

In your role, you will be called upon to:

• Validate requirements and ensure the execution of the delivery of purchase orders
• Manage the placement of purchase orders and the administration of related activities (receiving, snags, invoices, inventory, safety stock parameters...).
• Analyze delivery delays and prioritize supplier deliveries to minimize the impact on the production chain
• Manage the short and long-term operational plan (retrofit, shortages...)
• Track supply chain performance (receiving, warehouses, transport, shipping...) and manage deviations
• Ensure interaction with suppliers (on-site or remote visits) with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive measures
• Establish strong relationships with internal teams such as Supply Chain Quality Management (SCQM), Compliance Management (CM), Engineering, Methods, Quality, Production, and Strategic Procurement.
• Manage non-quality items (Repair, Returns...)
• Provide a global view of stock levels. Obtain and follow up on supplier action plans to maintain an optimal level
• Define the recovery plan with production teams if necessary. Understand the global "VSM" (Value Stream Mapping) of your respective products.

Profile

• As an ideal candidate,
• You hold a bachelor's degree in operations management or industrial management OR a college diploma in the same fields, with two (2) years or more of experience.
• You have good skills in priority and multitasking management.
• You have good knowledge of software such as Excel, Access, and Lotus Notes.
• You have knowledge and experience with SAP.
• You have an APICS certification.
• You are bilingual (French and English, written and spoken).
• You have 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
