About the position
We are looking for several Project Managers specializing in construction supervision to coordinate the implementation of small and medium-sized projects within Desjardins' real estate network.
You will be responsible for supervising renovation and renovation work, coordinating external professionals and contractors, and ensuring compliance with schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.
You will also act as a resource person for management, managers, field teams, and suppliers to ensure the smooth running of projects and quickly resolve issues that may impact their execution.
Technical requirements and skills
Main requirements
- Bachelor's degree or DEC in:
- + Architecture
- + Building Mechanics
- + Or in a related discipline
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction or office renovation project management
- Experience in real estate construction supervision
- Excellent ability to read and interpret plans:
- + Architectural
- + Electromechanical
- + Renovation
- Good general understanding of the different trades in construction:
- + Architecture
- + Engineering
- + Building Mechanics
- + Interior Design
- + Project Management
- Experience in coordinating professionals, contractors, and external suppliers
- Knowledge of contractual management
- Good knowledge of CCDC-2 and CCDC-5 contracts
- Ability to manage risks, deadlines, supplies, and site issues
Objectives and deliverables
- Ensure the realization of real estate projects in compliance with schedules and client requirements
- Coordinate the interventions of external professionals and contractors
- Supervise renovation, renovation, and building infrastructure work
- Quickly identify risks and issues affecting work execution
- Ensure clear communication between internal teams, managers, and suppliers
- Ensure the quality and compliance of completed work
Main responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the execution of small or medium-sized real estate projects
- Manage projects such as:
- + Workspace renovation
- + Office renovation
- + Mechanical infrastructure work
- + Building coating work
- Coordinate mandates assigned to architects, engineers, designers, and contractors
- Monitor execution schedules
- Manage risks, deadlines, suppliers, and supplies
- Identify issues and recommend corrective measures
- Interpret plans and validate work compliance
- Act as an expert advisor to network management and managers
- Maintain regular communication with field teams
- Monitor contractual work and supplier compliance
- Ensure work quality and compliance with agreed commitments
