Project Manager (Wind Energy Projects/High Voltage Lines)

Main Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the business manager or project director, the candidate will have the following main tasks: Responding to tender calls.

Understanding the technical and administrative specifications of the projects.

Project Management: Following up on studies, purchases, preparing and coordinating on-site work.

Managing the work schedule, critical path, and performance indicators, as well as updating them.

Daily monitoring and planning of the project's implementation, ensuring the respect of the budget and schedule.

Negotiating subcontracting contracts.

Planning, coordinating, and scheduling subcontractors.

Organizing and managing multidisciplinary work teams.

Monitoring the quality control procedures.

Monitoring the SST prevention program and the environmental program.

Preparing monthly invoicing and identifying additional work.

Preparing monthly exchange values (Work costs and end-of-project projection).

Monthly approval of invoices (subcontractors/suppliers).

Supervising the list of deficiencies.

Establishing and maintaining relationships with the various stakeholders of the project and participating in meetings.

Being the contact person for the clients on-site from negotiation to the completion of the work.

Initiating and maintaining the necessary communications on-site with the project partners (Clients, suppliers, subcontractors).

Job Requirements:

Hold a university degree or a college diploma in civil/electrical/mechanical studies.

Have successful experience in project management or related fields.

5 to 10 years of experience in the construction of electrical/industrial infrastructure projects.

Hold an ASP construction card.

English is an asset.

Autonomy, organization, good analytical skills, teamwork, and exemplary leadership.

Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license.
