Director, Credit Structures (Intern)

What is the job opportunity about?

As a Director, Credit Structures, you will be a credit specialist, offering Private Banking clients innovative credit solutions and added-value professional advice, leveraging your deep knowledge of credit. You will manage credit relationships with Private Banking clients and apply the RBC Together principle, the key to success, by offering clients the best solutions and presenting the right partners and resources at the right time.

What will your tasks be?

• Provide top-tier credit relationship management and advisory services to wealthy Canadians, in accordance with the five principles of the Black Card Privilege
• Be determined to offer first-class credit experiences through excellent service by conducting in-depth exploratory interviews with clients about their credit needs, analyzing options by leveraging the tools at your disposal, and presenting credit advice-based solutions
• Proactively offer credit advice to all Private Banking clients and develop innovative and creative added-value credit solutions
• Quickly prepare and submit complete and accurate credit offers for approval, supported by the required pre-approval and financial statement analysis
• Meet with clients about mortgage renewals and process their requests
• Proactively manage credit renewals by submitting files before the renewal date
• What do you need to succeed?

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in lending to individual clients and/or business financial services
• Ability to analyze financial statements
• Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will serve a Francophone and Anglophone clientele
• Advanced customer relationship management skills

Assets

• Knowledge of and understanding of RBC Private Banking financial products as well as credit and risk procedures, guidelines, and standards
• Experience working with wealthy clients
• Experience working in commercial markets and/or capital markets
