What You Need to Succeed

• Hold a DEC or AEC in aircraft maintenance, DEC in Aerospace Engineering, or a DEP in mechanical assembly.
• Basic mechanical knowledge, an asset
• Relevant experience: 2 to 5 years in the aeronautics field, an asset;
• Ability to perform various operations on computer systems (intermediate level)
• Good teamwork skills (most work is done in a work team)
• Field of study: Aeronautics
• This position is set in a French-speaking work environment, but requires functional English knowledge to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings, and technical terms that may come from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with international clients, suppliers, or colleagues.
• What Your Day Will Look Like?
• General Responsibilities
• Install the necessary accessories on the engine for its proper functioning.
• Adapt the test bench to the type of engine and fix an engine on it, connecting the fluid lines and command and instrumentation connectors according to the work instructions
• Monitor the readings displayed on the various computer control panels, to record the deviations and intervene immediately
• Fill out various reading and test reports.
• Make the necessary adjustments during the tests.
• Affix your signature to testify that the tests have been completed according to the standards.
• Perform a visual inspection of the external state of the engine upon arrival at the tests and upon its exit.
• If necessary, wash, rinse, and dry the engines, their supports, and the test cell.
• Specific Responsibilities
• Participate in the development of new processes, products, and revisions for the choice of methods and tools.
• Take the necessary items from the stores and report the exits and material needs to the responsible person.
• Keep your equipment and work environment clean and in good condition.
• Participate in the training and sharing of your knowledge with your teammates on the different equipment and tasks.
• Perform other similar tasks of lesser or equal complexity related to the functions mentioned above.
