As an Accounting Technician, you will play an important role in processing, analyzing, and monitoring accounting transactions, with a primary focus on bank reconciliations. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, while supporting day-to-day activities, periodic closings, and continuous process improvement in accounting.

You will be recognized for

• Performing bank reconciliations and related matching activities for assigned accounts, including analyzing open transactions, tracking discrepancies, and making required corrections;
• Ensuring the daily and periodic processing of bank files, accounting entries, and matching operations in accounting systems;
• Preparing, validating, and analyzing various accounting reports related to banking activities, revenues, payments, intercompany transactions, and end-of-month follow-ups;
• Collaborating with internal teams, including treasury, accounts payable, and show accounting, to analyze discrepancies, track them, and contribute to the accuracy of accounting data;
• Participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, as well as some ad hoc follow-ups related to bank accounts, checks, new accounts, and continuous process improvement.

We would like to meet you if you have

• Relevant experience in accounting, ideally in an environment with high transaction volumes and bank reconciliations;
• A college diploma in accounting;
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
• Knowledge of SAP or another ERP system, an asset;
• Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, autonomy, and fluency in both French and English.
