Summary
As an Advisor in Total Compensation, you will play a key advisory role within Beneva, leveraging your expertise in benefits, compensation, and working conditions. You will take on various mandates, activities, and processes related to these areas, collaborating with different internal partners, in matters involving executives, professionals, administrative support staff, and unionized employees, in Quebec as well as elsewhere in Canada.
You are a recognized advisor for
- Your modern practices in benefits, compensation, and working conditions, particularly in relation to career paths, integration of ESG factors, and/or the use of technologies to support the evolution of practices;
- Your experience and knowledge of the rules applicable in Quebec as well as elsewhere in Canada;
- Your ability to manage varied files, including complex, strategic, executive, or organizationally sensitive issues;
- Your ease in navigating an environment where exigency and benevolence coexist, as well as for your collaborative approach and sense of partnership.

You will realize yourself in the following projects, functions, and tasks:
- Collaborate with HR business partners, talent acquisition advisors, labor relations advisors, and managers, and provide them with advisory services in total compensation;
- Contribute to designing modern and innovative total compensation solutions, including for employee education purposes;
- Participate in salary surveys and working conditions analyses to recommend the orientations to be prioritized to remain competitive;
- Participate in the annual review of working conditions;
- Administer job evaluation and salary equity programs;
- Participate in the administration of variable compensation programs;
- Serve as the Company's representative on employment committees and play an active role within these committees;
- Contribute to the development and optimization of the Compensation module in Workday for the sector;
- Develop various policies and procedures; administer and update them;
- Contribute to various mandates and projects of the vice-presidency, including in strategic talent management, mutualist employee experience, and merger and acquisition projects.
Your skills and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline;
- Member of the Order of Certified Human Resources Advisors, an asset;
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, including the role of benefits and total compensation advisor;
- Knowledge of the Workday system and Career Map, an asset;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software and primarily Excel, intermediate or advanced level;
- Proficiency with computer tools;
- Advanced French language skills, both oral and written, as well as functional English language skills, both oral and written, due to interactions with anglophone colleagues, partners, or suppliers and to support the growth of Beneva.
