The TD Equipment Financing Team (FETD) is an Excellence Center within TD's Specialized Commercial Banking Services. Its mandate is to structure equipment financing (lease-financing and loans) for current and potential business clients so that it can be offered as a solution to other traditional banking financing sources.

The TD Equipment Financing Group is looking for people interested in starting a career in commercial equipment financing. As an Account Director, you will work in partnership with a Business Development Account Manager.

You hold a bachelor's degree or are working towards a bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or have experience in the banking sector.

As an Account Director, you will apply your skills in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.

You will help the Account Manager implement marketing support and solicitation programs, such as targeted calls, prospecting, and client event participation, as well as sales strategy execution and credit analysis.

You will develop relationship management skills by helping clients develop their business plans and offering customized financial solutions that meet the needs of their individual activities.

In your daily work, you will stay informed about the evolution of competition, market environmental trends, and key economic trends in the equipment financing sector.

Skills and Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field;
  • Two years of relevant experience or more in the financial or equipment financing sector;
  • Relevant experience in sales or customer relationship management;
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a dynamic, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment;
  • Demonstrated determination to be customer-focused, offering exceptional service during every client interaction to optimize loyalty and growth;
  • Strong ability to develop a business development strategy;
  • Possess a great sense of initiative and demonstrate a strong ability to build relationships;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills;
  • Strong ability to communicate in French and English.
