Barista / Cashier

L2 Bubble tea, L2 Bubble Tea, is located in the Alexis Nihon Shopping Centre, less than 30 seconds from the Atwater Metro turnstile.

We are looking for a cashier / barista to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

As a cashier

• Greet and warmly welcome customers
• Answer their questions and take orders via POS
• If necessary, suggest drinks to customers
• Prepare garnishes for baristas
• Check and give drinks to customers
• Ensure the work area remains clean in front and behind the counter
• Restock garnishes, straws, and macarons
• Notify baristas when the tapioca level is low
• Assist baristas during busy times
• Perform opening or closing tasks (when necessary)
• All other related tasks

As a Barista

• Prepare and serve drinks according to customer requests
• Give drinks if the cashier is busy
• Cook tapioca pearls (when necessary) and keep track with the cashier
• Prepare teas, puddings, etc. (when necessary) and keep track
• Ensure the work area, blenders, and utensils remain clean
• Restock products and place stock when necessary
• Handle cash during cashier breaks
• Perform opening or closing tasks (when necessary)
• All other related tasks

• Detail-oriented person, concerned with well-done work
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure (''multitask'')
• Ability to take initiative, shows resourcefulness
• Ability to work efficiently during busy times
• Ability to work as a team for excellent customer service
• Knowledge of bubble tea (a valuable asset)
• Experience in drink preparation (2 years),
• Experience as a cashier (1 year+)
• Bilingualism (French and English (mandatory))
