Job Objective

Ability to accurately and efficiently complete assigned tasks at the distribution center using a variety of equipment, including RF barcode readers, electric and manual pallet jacks, standing and sitting forklifts, WMS applications, and other shipping applications.

Job Components

• Process system and manual transactions accurately (receiving, transfer, picking, packing, shipping)
• Handle product according to warehouse distributor standards (receiving, transfer, picking, packing, shipping)
• Properly label pallets (for transfer, picking, packing, shipping)
• General warehousing tasks (such as replenishing shelves and cleaning assigned areas)
• Ability to perform multiple tasks at once and/or quickly switch from one function/task to the next
• Other warehouse tasks assigned by the distribution center management

Qualifications

• High school diploma and solid basic math skills
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in warehouse operations - including RF/HH equipment, forklift, electric pallet jack, and stretch wrap machine, preferably in a warehouse environment
• Practical computer knowledge or ability to learn applicable systems required
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Sense of urgency and good organization
• Cooperative team attitude

Scope of Work

• Interacts professionally within the warehouse distribution team
• Interacts professionally with all other departments and team members
• Responsible for individual accuracy and commitment to learning from mistakes
• Works with integrity and demonstrates a positive attitude

Work Environment

• The warehouse distribution environment may be subject to extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, and battery acid.
• Lifting heavy loads up to 100 lb.
• Repetitive lifting
• Constant walking
• Standing or walking in two-hour intervals
• Repetitive carton recording
• Overtime required if deemed necessary
