Ventes et marketingDescription
About the Role
As a member of the Finance and Strategy team, you will contribute to shaping the strategic decisions that drive Hopper's verticals. This role combines strong financial intuition with AI-accelerated technical execution, moving the company from static modeling to long-term forecasting based on code. You will treat Claude and other language models as true teammates, using them to automate workflows, design complex SQL queries, and develop FP&A tools that support Hopper's next growth phase.
What Your Day Will Look Like
- Act as a strategic partner to the company's leadership, developing and managing financial models that translate complex operational factors into clear strategic recommendations.
- Design long-term forecasting models and engines that go beyond static spreadsheets, using AI to simulate hypothetical scenarios and build a resilient, code-based roadmap for the next 3 to 5 years.
- Develop and maintain code-based systems that power Hopper's financial engine, leveraging Claude to write, debug, and optimize complex SQL and BigQuery workflows that automate real-time dashboards and weekly performance reports.
- Collaborate with Sales and Media teams on forecasts, unit economics, and performance tracking, adapting to the company's evolving priorities.
The Ideal Candidate Has
- A degree in business administration, strategy, finance, mathematics, engineering, or any other quantitative discipline.
- 5 to 7 years of experience or more in a top-tier technology company, ideally with investment banking experience.
- Demonstrated experience using Claude, ChatGPT, or GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity, using AI to write higher-quality SQL faster than relying solely on SQL knowledge.
- An entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work autonomously.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, backed by solid experience in three-statement financial modeling.
- This role requires fluency in both French and English. The selected candidate will need to communicate and collaborate regularly with colleagues, managers, clients, suppliers, and business partners outside Quebec, and will need to consult, prepare, and use documentation, systems, and communications in both languages. English proficiency is therefore necessary for the performance of the duties related to the position and to meet operational and client requirements in an international business context.
