Bridor is looking for its future Customer Service Agent to join a dynamic and committed team.

Your main responsibilities

  • Process and track customer orders (email and EDI) in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Confirm orders, coordinate deliveries, and inform customers about availability, stockouts, and shipping terms.
  • Resolve order-related issues while maintaining proactive communication and providing excellent customer service.
  • Be B2B-oriented, which involves interactions with manufacturers, distributors, and logistics partners.

Your work environment

  • You will work Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Process and enter customer orders assigned to you via our computer system (SAP); by manual entry and/or via EDI interface, and follow up until delivery with clients;
  • Confirm shipping dates, prices, and stock availability;
  • Validate inventory shortages and indicate upcoming availability;
  • Apply company decisions in the allocation and distribution of stock according to established procedures;
  • Follow up with various internal teams such as production planning, marketing, procurement, logistics, and sales to meet customer needs;
  • Maintain a professional relationship with our clients (phone, email) to answer their questions, complaints, or special requests, in order to anticipate their needs;
  • Inform our clients about any potential changes in their order to follow up on inventory status in relation to production, transfers, or delivery delays;
  • Establish collaboration with our North American warehousing and transportation providers to ensure orders are handled according to customer needs;
  • Process system transaction errors with various stakeholders and apply necessary corrections to receive, invoice, and/or credit customer orders;
  • Maintain real-time understanding of the company's internal operations and any potential issues or delays, to inform the client when relevant and propose alternatives;
  • Resolve and handle customer complaints regarding logistics and consumer service;
  • Perform all tasks required to support the customer service team, including processing deductions, returns, and credits as needed.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with computer tools (Office Suite; MRP/SAP, an asset) and quick learning ability.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English.
  • Good knowledge of sales and customer service principles (transport, an asset).
  • Relevant college diploma and a minimum of two years of experience in customer service.
  • Autonomy, flexibility, diligence, and excellent priority management.
  • Ability to work in a team, manage multiple files, and adapt to change.
