About the Position

A.D.M. Vision is seeking an architectural technician or interior designer to join its team.

The selected candidate will participate in the design and implementation of various interior design projects, particularly in the hotel, commercial, office, and restaurant sectors.

Among the initial assignments, the person will contribute to the development of a new hotel located in Trois-Rivières. They will be primarily responsible for designing the hotel rooms, common areas, and various hotel sectors.

This project will be a significant focus at the beginning of the employment, but it will not be the only assignment. The person will also work on several other office, commercial, restaurant, and real estate projects in parallel and subsequently. The position therefore offers a wide variety of projects and challenges.

We are looking for a person who enjoys developing ideas and thinking about design as much as producing technical drawings.

Main Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and layout of interior design projects;
• Propose ideas, concepts, and layout solutions;
• Conduct research on inspiration, trends, materials, furniture, and finishes;
• Prepare mood boards, material selections, and visual presentations;
• Create and modify layout plans, elevations, details, and technical drawings;
• Design certain integrated furniture and cabinetry elements;
• Collaborate with team members, professionals, contractors, and suppliers;
• Participate in project coordination and follow-up;
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously and adjust priorities as needed.

Desired Profile

• Education in interior design, architectural technology, or a related field;
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience;
• Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to use it effectively from day one;
• Good knowledge of software used for design, plan production, and presentations;
• Ability to produce clear, accurate, and well-organized plans;
• Strong interest in design, materials, colors, and space planning;
• Creativity and ease in proposing ideas;
• Autonomy, resourcefulness, and organizational skills;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines;
• Adaptability and ability to transition between projects;
• Proficiency in spoken and written French.

Assets (optional)

• Experience in hotel projects;
• Experience in commercial, hotel, restaurant, or multi-unit residential projects;
• Proficiency in 3D modeling or rendering software, such as SketchUp, Revit, Enscape, Lumion, or equivalent;
• Knowledge of materials, finishes, and industry suppliers.

Hotel experience is a valuable asset, but it is not mandatory. We are also open to candidates with strong experience in other types of projects and interested in developing their expertise in the hotel industry.
