Barback (F/H/NB)

Bar Bon Délire is looking for a bilingual and experienced Barback to join our team. If you want to be part of a motivated team and you have a desire to grow with a young and passionate team, we would love to meet you.

Tasks description

• Setting up the bar: refilling products and drinks, optimal layout of the bar for service
• Ensure good customer service: welcome customers, fill the water, answer any questions they may have and direct them to the bartender for order taking
• Work in collaboration with the bartender: ensure the cleanliness of workspaces and glassware, assist in the production of cocktails and drinks, ensure regular filling and check the preparation in progress
• Perform the cleaning of the workstation: clean the fridges and the prep room, undo the boxes of alcohol and organize them for recycling, clear and straighten the bar for the next customers
• Collect and process payments: determine which customer pays for which item, collect payments
• Perform any other related task as needed

Required skills

• 1 or 2 years of bar service experience

This position involves frequent interactions with a diverse clientele, including English-speaking customers. Proficiency in both French and English is essential in order to provide professional and personalized service to all our clients and to meet their needs in the language of their choice.

Salary: $13.30 to $25.00 per hour
