Research and Development Technician

Do you enjoy testing, analysis, and manufacturing processes? Do you have a keen eye for detail, work with rigor, and can solve technical problems?

Corro-Protec is looking for a Research and Development Technician to contribute to quality control, improve our manufacturing processes, and develop new products.

You will join a growing Quebec family-owned company of about 30 people.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming product compliance tests
• Coordinate and follow up on certain external analyses
• Conduct tests on finished products
• Calibrate manufacturing tools and equipment
• Ensure continuous testing follow-up
• Participate in the development of new products and processes
• Contribute to the improvement of existing products and processes
• Document results and technical follow-ups
• Occasionally answer technical questions from clients

Qualifications

• College or university degree in a relevant field: mechanical engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, physical sciences, or related field
• One to three years of experience in similar roles
• Knowledge of laboratory measurement and analysis instruments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Autonomy, resourcefulness, rigor, and attention to detail
• Proficiency in written and spoken English, as our market is primarily anglophone
