Plant Manager

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations Management

• Ensure smooth operations and achievement of objectives (production, quality, deadlines)
• Optimize the use of resources and equipment
• Ensure compliance with SST standards
• Collaborate with planning and other sites to ensure operational fluidity

Quality Management

• Supervise quality activities and ensure adherence to standards
• Ensure product compliance and track non-conformities
• Implement corrective actions and improve practices

Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement optimization opportunities
• Track performance indicators and results
• Mobilize teams in improvement initiatives

Team Management

• Lead, motivate, and develop employees
• Ensure effective communication and a positive work environment
• Participate in recruitment and integration

Director Support

• Contribute to strategic directions and annual plan
• Act as a partner to the production director
• Promote harmonization of practices across sites

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Wood Engineering, Operations Management, or a relevant field
• Experience in production management in a manufacturing environment (3+ years)
• Experience with an integrated management system (ERP)
• Intermediate English required
• Experience in quality management and/or continuous improvement (asset)
• Experience in team management
• Proficiency in Excel
• Personal Qualities: Leadership, strong communication skills with employees, analytical ability, autonomy, and organizational sense
• Salary: Starting at $82,000 per year
