ElectroMechanical Technician – Class B Recreational Vehicles

Prestige Group – Gala RV Department is a Quebec-based manufacturer of Class B recreational vehicles known for the quality of its products and expertise. To support our growth, we are looking for a passionate electro-mechanical technician who wishes to contribute to the manufacture of high-end recreational vehicles.

As a ... you will be responsible for installing electrical wiring and various electronic devices inside the recreational vehicles, in accordance with the manufacturing plans. You will participate in the creation of reliable and secure electrical systems that ensure the proper functioning of the "habitation" portion of the vehicles.

Main Responsibilities

• Install electrical wiring according to established plans and procedures.
• Connect various electrical and electronic equipment, including:
• Interior lighting;
• Refrigerator;
• Water heater;
• Battery management systems;
• Solar panels;
• Pumps, fans, and other habitation components.
• Verify the proper functioning of electrical installations.
• Monitor vehicles in production to ensure that all electrical assembly steps are completed before their progression on the assembly line.
• Work safely and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate closely with other production team members.
• Desired Profile

We are looking for an autonomous, meticulous person with solid experience in electricity.

Requirements

• Solid experience in electricity or electro-mechanics.
• Excellent understanding of electrical systems.
• Very good manual skills.
• General knowledge of construction or renovation.
• Familiarity with commonly used electrical installation tools.
• Ability to read and follow assembly plans.
• Sense of organization and attention to detail.
• Punctuality and autonomy.
• Team spirit and excellent collaboration with colleagues.
• Strict adherence to health and safety standards.

• Full-time permanent position.
• Stable schedule:
• Monday to Thursday: 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM
• Friday: 6:30 AM to 11:30 AM
• Up to 3 weeks of vacation per year.
