We are looking for a Welder with field experience to join our team at Jasalex MG. He or she will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components to assemble or repair products such as machines, equipment, and structures. Mastery of Mig/Tig/rod welding is essential. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
• Use manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to assemble metal segments
• Perform quality control to ensure products meet standards and specifications
• Handle various tools, including plasma cutters, angle grinders, and measuring feet
• Perform welding work using MIG, TIG, and stick welding processes
• Inspect materials and structures for any defects
• Must be able to move to go to the installation site
• Perform any other related tasks

Skills

• High school diploma (asset)
• DEP/ARC welding training (required)
• 2-5 years of experience (required)
• Valid driver's license (required)
• Mastery of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and rod (required)
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and plans
• Experience with electrical tools and machinery, including forklifts
• Basic knowledge of mathematics for measurements and calculations
• Ability to fabricate and assemble metal components
• Great attention to detail and quality control
• Mastery of the use of measuring feet for precise measurements
• Experience in machining, food, and pharmaceutical industries would be an asset
• CCQ card would be an asset. (Also offers the opportunity to obtain CCQ cards).
