Implement critical operational processes related to loans daily, including administrative and loan maintenance activities. Support the execution of payments, transactions, service requests, administrative activities, and processes, as well as the handling of stakeholder requests within the prescribed service level agreements. Collaborate with stakeholders to promote efficient and effective processes and workflows, establish positive business relationships throughout the organization, achieve desired outcomes, and provide the desired customer and employee experience. Loan Processing Support includes processes and activities related to mortgage loans, personal credit products, leasing, or business credit products.
- Advise and guide the business unit or assigned team on implementing solutions.
- Support the implementation of strategic initiatives, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate with internal partners and external clients to respond to routine or non-routine information requests in accordance with guidelines.
- Integrate information from multiple sources to enhance process efficiency, improve analysis, and streamline report production.
- Monitor and track performance and address issues.
- Support the management of various types and scopes of changes; generally focus on execution and maintenance activities.
- Perform tasks to provide timely, accurate, and efficient services.
- Handle common and relatively simple problems, and escalate uncommon issues to higher-level team members or the director.
- Perform administrative tasks such as distributing, collecting, and filing documents and information.
- Act as a resource for problem resolution for less experienced staff, if needed.
- Provide feedback and analysis on planning, testing, and implementing continuous improvement projects and participate in these tasks.
- Process service requests, transactions, and activities accurately and promptly, in accordance with relevant service level agreements, policies, processes, and procedures.
- Provide accurate, consistent, and informed responses to stakeholder questions and requests.
- Adhere to documented standards and procedures for executing transactions, activities, and processes on a daily basis, and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
- Verify and reconcile information and documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in accordance with standard procedures. If necessary, escalate issues in accordance with guidelines.
- Capture, review, and verify loan information and documents for processing.
- Manage documents to ensure proper file maintenance.
- Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate on the design and implementation of new processes or systems, as well as changes and improvements to current systems and processes.
- Acquire and maintain an understanding of regulatory requirements and inherent risks in operations to ensure appropriate measures are taken to protect operational integrity.
- Support the development of tools and training focused on achieving results.
- Potentially focus on a specific business unit or team.
- Think creatively and propose new solutions.
- Exercise judgment to identify problems, determine their causes, and resolve them within established limits.
- Generally work independently.

Qualifications
- Generally three to five years of relevant professional experience with a post-secondary degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of relevant systems and technological tools and experience using them – in-depth knowledge.
- Knowledge and understanding of the main products, services, processes, and controls of the business unit – in-depth knowledge.
- Knowledge of the risks and regulatory requirements of the business unit – in-depth knowledge.
- Ability to set priorities – strong skills.
- Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – in-depth skills.
- Specialized knowledge acquired through education or work experience.
- Oral and written communication skills – in-depth skills.
- Collaboration and teamwork skills – in-depth skills.
- Analysis and problem-solving skills – in-depth skills.
- Influence skills – in-depth skills.
You speak both French and English fluently, as this role provides support to clients and team members inside and/or outside the province of Quebec.
Salary: $45,500.00 - $84,500.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the position and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time positions will be calculated on a prorated basis of the number of regularly worked hours. For commission-based roles, the aforementioned salary represents BMO Financial Group's target for the first year in the position.
