Production Journeyman - Ingredient Mixer

Gourmet Nutrition is a Quebec-based company specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of food products.

Since 1988, our success has been built on listening to our employees, teamwork, and a work environment where it's a pleasure to work. We are currently looking for a dynamic, rigorous, and versatile person to join our production team as a Production Journeyman - Ingredient Mixer.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform automated mixing of dry products while adhering to established recipes and procedures;
• Weigh and prepare the necessary ingredients for production;
• Demonstrate rigor in applying various recipes;
• Perform manual packaging of dry products;
• Maintain production levels according to company standards;
• Conduct necessary checks to ensure product quality and compliance;
• Follow good manufacturing practices (BPF/GMP) and food industry hygiene and cleanliness standards;
• Clean equipment and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment;
• Prepare and package orders according to customer specifications;
• Receive and verify merchandise and purchase orders;
• Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely order shipments;
• Support various departments as needed.

• Be comfortable with quantity calculations and precise recipe tracking;
• Be in good physical condition and able to occasionally lift weights up to 40 lb;
• Experience in food production or packaging machinery is an asset.
• Working Conditions
• Full-time permanent position;
• Fixed schedule from Monday to Friday;
• 37.5 hours per week;
• Friday afternoon off;
• Salary based on skills and experience;
• Work performed on-site;
• Work location: Sainte-Julie, Quebec, J3E 1Z2.

The selected candidate must be able to commute to Sainte-Julie without difficulty.
