About Us

Pains et Saveurs is a growing group of bakeries-cafés on the South Shore of Montreal. We offer a range of fresh and quality products — bread, pastries, prepared meals, and specialty coffee — in a warm atmosphere.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist the chef and kitchen team in the daily preparation of food
• Perform mise en place (washing, cutting, preparing ingredients)
• Participate in the preparation of simple dishes according to established recipes
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the workstation and kitchen
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards (MAPAQ)
• Help with the reception and storage of deliveries
• Perform dishwashing and maintenance of kitchen equipment as needed
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth and efficient service

Desired Profile

• Kitchen experience is an asset, but not mandatory (training provided)
• Sense of organization, speed of execution, and concern for cleanliness
• Ability to work standing for long periods and in a fast-paced environment
• Team spirit, punctuality, and reliability
• Availability including early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends according to the schedule
• Knowledge of food safety standards is an asset
