WHAT YOUR SHIFTS WILL LOOK LIKE

• Ensures that the storage and work areas of the housekeeping and maintenance departments are clean and safe at all times.
• Tasks from the concierge department are an integral part of the maintenance assistant's duties in public areas.
• Responds to service calls from the reception and/or the housekeeper, performs necessary repairs for the comfort of the guest.
• Daily maintenance of the pools and SPA, e.g., water testing, adjusting the water level of the different pools, emptying skimmers and replacing furniture.
• Daily maintenance of the exterior stairs and sidewalks, maintenance of the mini-farm, feeding the ducks and animals of the mini-farm during the summer season.
• Cleans the exterior public areas (trash) such as parking lots, lawns, the park near the frog pond, around the lake, ensures the cleanliness of the exterior windows of the public areas, e.g., dining room, bistro, etc.
• Picks up trash and dishes in the dining room, empties exterior trash cans.
• Ensures that the entrances of the hotel and the exterior rooms are clean and free of cobwebs, ensures that ashtrays and smoking areas are clean at all times.
• May be called upon to work on other tasks or projects related to this position.
• During the winter season, the priority is on snow removal of sidewalks and entrances, ensuring that the stairs and the front of the doors are always cleared and safe by spreading salt, sand, and/or gravel.
