Job Title: Accounting Technician

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Maintain the books of various clients
• Prepare bank reconciliations and accounting entries
• Produce tax reports (GST/HST)
• Participate in the preparation of financial statements
• Assist in the preparation of year-end files
• Collaborate with clients and answer their accounting questions
• Prepare individual income tax returns
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative and accounting processes

Desired Profile and Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent training
• Relevant experience in bookkeeping or accounting
• Good knowledge of accounting software (Sage - QuickBooks)
• Sense of organization, autonomy, and attention to detail
• Good interpersonal skills and team spirit

Compensation: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
