Day Laborers - Night Shift

Winpak is looking for 2 day laborers for the night shift at its plant in Vaudreuil.

In this role, you actively support production operations by ensuring a continuous supply of operators and maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Supply production lines with raw materials and supplies (solvents, packaging, resins, glues, etc.).
• Check the availability and compliance of required materials according to work orders.
• Perform inventory transfers and movements in the system.
• Receive, move, and store materials according to established procedures, including the FIFO principle.
• Conduct physical inventories and track materials and waste.
• Collect, sort, and recycle production waste, using appropriate handling equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including the solvent room.
• Deliver samples to the Quality Control service.
• Participate in the management of used solvents and inks.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental rules and report any hazardous situations.
• Perform any other tasks requested by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma (DES) or equivalent.
• Good French language skills (oral and written) are required to ensure effective communication with the team and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management practices and FIFO methods.
• Familiarity with handling raw materials, solvents, or chemical products.

• The day laborer position is 100% on-site.

• Night shift from 11:00

PM to 7:00 AM.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to handle loads up to 25 kg, in accordance with ISO 11228 standards, using appropriate equipment and safe methods.
