Packaging Clerk

Viande Richelieu is a food processing plant located in Massueville, just 20 minutes from Sorel-Tracy. We are looking for a Packaging Clerk for our under-vacuum packaging department.

What you will do

Place meat pieces into under-vacuum bags.

Place the bags into the packaging machine for under-vacuum sealing and ensure the quality of the under-vacuum and sealing.

Comply with health, safety, and sanitation standards, as well as HACCP recommendations.

What we offer

A schedule from Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM (end time varies according to production)

In-house training, no experience required

Salary increase after 6 months, depending on your skills.

What we are looking for

You must be able to work standing up (assembly line work) in a cold (refrigerated) and noisy environment.

You must be able to handle heavy bags of meat.

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Compensation: Starting at $19.50 per hour
