Based in Saint-Patrice-de-Beaurivage, Solugen Global is a growing company that creates liquid organic fertilizers based on nitrogen, intended for sustainable agriculture. With our distillation technology, our innovative approach transforms agricultural emissions into high-performance fertilizers.
The Industrial Process Engineer will play a key role in the design of new facilities, the improvement of production performance, and the deployment of new technologies. We are looking for a Process Engineer who will actively contribute to the development, optimization, and expansion of our industrial processes.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE SUCCESS OF THE ORGANIZATION
- Design, optimize, and improve industrial processes, ensuring their efficiency, reliability, and compliance with operational requirements.
- Perform material and energy balances to validate key design parameters and ensure the performance of the facilities.
- Develop process flow diagrams (PFD), instrumentation and piping diagrams (P&ID), and detailed technical specifications related to processes.
- Participate in the sizing of process equipment (reactors, heat exchangers, pumps, tanks, etc.).
- Collaborate with mechanical, automation, and operations teams to ensure the integration of systems and the smooth progress of projects.
- Participate in the commissioning of new facilities, including startup tests and process parameter adjustments.
- Analyze process performance, identify deviations, and propose improvements.
- Manage or participate in multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- Contribute to risk analyses (HAZOP, process safety, etc.).
- Participate in the development of new technologies and their industrialization.

- YOUR SKILLS AND TALENTS THAT WILL HELP YOU ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering.
- Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (or admissible).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, industrial operations, and/or project management.
- Good knowledge of thermal processes, separation processes, fluid treatment, or chemical processes.
- Experience in plant commissioning or continuous improvement (asset).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Autonomy, rigor, and team spirit.
- Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing.
- Excellent French proficiency, English is considered an asset.
