Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert nursing care to diverse patient populations across various settings, including hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and home care environments. Duties

  • Deliver comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions tailored to individual needs.
  • Administer medications accurately following prescribed orders, including injections, IV therapies, and oral medications.
  • Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner to document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes efficiently.
  • Perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, wound care, and vital sign monitoring with precision and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management efforts for complex cases involving pediatrics, seniors, dementia care, or acute conditions.
  • Provide pain management strategies to alleviate discomfort and improve quality of life for patients in various settings.
  • Support patient education initiatives by explaining medical terminology, treatment options, and medication instructions clearly.
  • Assist with laboratory specimen collection and processing while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Contribute to a safe environment by adhering to infection control standards and safety regulations in hospital or assisted living settings.
  • Engage in home care visits or hospital rounds to deliver patient-centered care that promotes recovery and independence.

Requirements

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the appropriate state licensing board.
  • Proven experience working in hospital environments with acute care expertise preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and laboratory procedures.
  • Experience providing specialized care such as pediatrics, senior care, dementia management or pain control is a plus.
  • Ability to perform phlebotomy procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and clear patient education.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle medical office tasks or assist in outpatient settings is advantageous.
  • Compassionate approach with experience working with children or elderly populations in home or assisted living environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of nursing home operations or long-term care facilities enhances your fit for this role.
