Barista

Full-time/Part-time

The barista at Café Fika offers counter service in a space inspired by the Swedish concept of the coffee break, fika, offering a local and boreal menu in simplicity composed of small dishes, coffees, drinks and snacks. Focused on health and well-being, it contributes to offering a unique experience to the clientele.

Main Responsibilities

• Take orders from customers at the counter
• Prepare and assemble simple dishes from recipe cards
• Prepare coffees and cocktails
• Process billing and payments for customers
• Perform the necessary setup for service, including clearing and cleaning tables, service and work areas
• Ensure customer satisfaction
• Participate in checking the freshness of products and product rotation

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in the restaurant industry (asset)
• Ability to create a pleasant atmosphere with the team and create privileged moments for the clientele
• Efficiency and good stress management

Specifications

• Compensation: salary based on experience + tips
• Permanent positions: part-time, between 20 and 30 hours per week
• Schedule: Day shift, available Monday to Friday
• Work location: Saint-Sauveur
