Personal Finance Advisor

The Desjardins Littoral Gaspesian Credit Union is looking for a Personal Finance Advisor to join the team, to support its members and clients in their projects. What will be your role? You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a lasting and trust-based business relationship with members and clients in order to ensure their satisfaction. Listening to them and offering adapted services to their financial situation is part of your daily responsibilities. You will be required to propose offers related to investment, financing and protection, while taking advantage of your ability to achieve results by ensuring a healthy and prudent management of risks. You will maintain collaborations with various partners and experts in order to propose integrated strategies, in response to the needs of members and clients. More specifically, you will be required to:

• Advise members and clients on the best strategies and agree on the results to be achieved.
• Act as the business relationship manager, evaluate satisfaction and service quality, follow up and recommend the required improvements.
• Stay up-to-date on financial news, market trends and best practices in your field of activity.
• Carry out various representation activities and participate in the presence in the industry.

What you will bring

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline
• At least one year of relevant experience
• Please note that other combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered
• Certificate of Representative in Collective Savings – Financial Markets Authority
• French language proficiency required
• Knowledge and understanding of compliance with laws on the distribution of financial products and services
• Knowledge of evaluation and follow-up techniques for a financing request to individuals.
• Knowledge of operational procedures related to financing and investment activities.
• Availability for travel to the other service point of the credit union.
