Class 1 Truck Driver

The truck driver is responsible for transporting forestry machinery between different job sites and wood trips. He works directly on-site and ensures efficient and safe movements, essential to the smooth operation of forestry activities.

Your responsibilities

• Drive the truck safely and in accordance with the Highway Traffic Act.
• Perform inspections before and after trips.
• Transport machinery and wood according to established routes.
• Keep the truck clean and in good working condition.
• Report any mechanical defects or anomalies.
• Follow schedules and safety guidelines on job sites.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience driving trucks.
• Good knowledge of loading/unloading techniques and the use of multi-level trailers.
