Surveyor

T.G.C. inc. is a general contractor in the field of civil engineering operating throughout Quebec. Founded in 1972, TGC is proud to offer promoters, municipalities, and cities complete management and execution of their projects.

The intern will work under the supervision of an experienced surveyor.

A brief overview of a Surveying Technician Intern's daily tasks:

• Verify plans and estimates;
• Align and verify elevations during construction;
• Install various construction elements (manhole, inspection chamber, fire hydrant, etc.);
• Inspect and locate sites before construction (videos, photos);
• Identify underground cables and wires (Info-Excavation);
• Verify received materials;
• Participate in the installation of curb, sidewalk, etc.;
• Measure quantities placed for final billing;
• Prepare progress reports;
• Maintain a job site log;
• Periodically verify the installed piping.

What you need
