Our Road Networks team is currently looking for an Engineer in Traffic Management. In this role, you will design traffic management plans and estimates, estimate the costs of temporary signage, and monitor the traffic management aspect of ongoing projects.
What will be your contribution to the team?
- Design traffic management plans based on the work to be done and the contractor's construction methods;
- Write estimates and reports on traffic management and signage;
- Prepare cost estimates for design work;
- Participate in site supervision regarding traffic management;
- Conduct site visits and photographic surveys;
- Validate signage drawings;
- Check the compliance of temporary signage during construction;
- Coordinate traffic management with various stakeholders;
- Attend site meetings and/or traffic management committee meetings;
- Participate in payment recommendations.
Our essential requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering;
- Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec;
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in traffic management, preferably gained within an engineering consulting firm;
- Analytical and synthesis skills;
- Good knowledge of MTQ standards (Volume V and Volume VIII);
- AQTR signage training (STC-102 and STC-201);
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team;
- Ability to manage rapid and frequent changes;
- Ability to structure and write reports and estimates;
- Availability during the day, as well as evenings and weekends;
- Bilingualism in French and English (an asset);
- Valid driver's license (Class 5) and access to a car.
