For full-time employees

- Purpose of the job
Under the supervision of the IT Operations Team Lead, the intern will assist the IT team in the deployment and support of technological operations related to the store network and headquarters. The main mandate will be to assist the teams in the openings, closings, relocations and renovations of stores, while ensuring the tracking of technological equipment, suppliers and the various administrative processes of the department.
Main responsibilities
- Assist the IT teams in the coordination of openings, relocations and special projects in-store;
- Assist internal and external stakeholders to ensure the implementation of technological equipment and services according to established standards;
- Support communications between headquarters, stores and suppliers involved in the projects;
- Perform the required follow-ups with suppliers to ensure the respect of deadlines and deliverables;
- Participate in the management of the IT assets inventory and contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date data;
- Assist the team in the administrative process of procuring technological equipment, including purchase requests and purchase orders;
- Perform the administrative follow-up of invoices and participate in the various approval cycles;
- Assist the administrative management of IT contracts and licenses, including the tracking of renewals, deadlines and associated documentation;
- Support maintenance and replacement activities of technological equipment in-store;
- Contribute to any other project or activity related to the IT department.
- Your profile
Organization and attention to detail: You like to work in a structured way, follow up on multiple files at the same time and ensure the respect of established standards.
Collaboration and communication: You are comfortable communicating with different partners, both internally and externally, and you know how to establish effective professional relationships.
Service and support: Accompanying, assisting and supporting teams in the realization of their projects motivates you on a daily basis.
Curiosity and interest in technologies: You wish to develop your knowledge in an environment where technologies directly support the operations of a constantly evolving store network.
Requirements
- DEC in computer science completed or in progress;
- Excellent communication skills in French and English, both oral and written (communication with suppliers and partners across Canada);
- Interest in technological infrastructures and network environments;
- Good mastery of the Microsoft Office suite;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a dynamic environment;
- Experience or school project related to networks, technological deployment or the opening of a work environment, an asset;
- Knowledge of the retail business (retail), an asset.
