Operations Manager Assistant

The Laval Children's Museum is looking for a passionate, dynamic, and team-oriented person to fill the position of Operations Manager.

We are looking for more than just a manager: we want someone who will take the museum to heart, who loves children, who inspires their team, and who contributes to creating a magical experience for each family that enters our doors.

What we offer

• Hourly wage of $20 to $28, depending on experience
• Salary review based on performance
• Full-time permanent position (40 hours/week)

Your responsibilities

• Supervise, guide, and motivate the team
• Ensure the smooth operation of daily operations
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Manage schedules and operational needs
• Resolve unexpected situations with autonomy and professionalism
• Ensure the quality of the visitor experience
• Participate in the organization and improvement of museum activities
• Train new employees and ensure compliance with procedures
• Collaborate with management to continuously improve operations
• The profile we are looking for
• You are a person who:
• ✔ Has experience in personnel management
• ✔ Is responsible, organized, and very autonomous
• ✔ Takes initiative and finds solutions quickly
• ✔ Is recognized for their positive leadership
• ✔ Enjoys working with children and families
• ✔ Provides excellent customer service
• ✔ Communicates perfectly in French and English, both orally and in writing
• ✔ Is available full-time, with availability on weekends as needed
